Alyuva Sun Protect+ Lotion is made using PUFA (Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids) free oils like Shata Dhauta Ghrita, Coconut Oil, Avocado Oil and Red Raspberry Oil which protect the skin from pigmentation, premature ageing and cellular damage caused by UV light. Alyuva’s Sun Protect+ contains a high ratio of non-nano uncoated Zinc Oxide which makes it “broad spectrum” as it protects against both UVA and UVB rays. All sunscreen products protect against UVB rays, which are the main cause of sunburn. But only “broad spectrum’ sunscreens protect against UVA rays, which cause serious skin problems and premature ageing. Alyuva sun protect has an optimum sun protection factor (SPF) of  30 +.  Alyuva Sun Protect+ Lotion is infused with exotic herbs like Calendula and Carrot Seed extract and Beeswax which make it non sticky and water resistant.

Ingredients:
  • Zinc Oxide
    Alyuva has used non-nano uncoated best quality Zinc Oxide to make the lotion broad spectrum. It has a SPF of 30+ which is ideal for a good sun screen. It protects you against both UVB and UVB rays. Non-nano Zinc Oxide does not get into your blood stream but remains on the surface of the skin.
  • Red Raspberry Oil (Rubus Idaeus)
    The oil Blocks UV rays as a natural sunscreen. The oil acts as a high antioxidant booster for fighting free radicals, it combats sun damage and photoaging, boosts collagen and elastin for firmer skin, helps fight acne and helps heal other acute skin ailments.   • Aloe Vera

        It is important to wear Sun Protect + while you are pregnant. Use natural and one with at least an SPF of 30.

        It usually lasts up to two to three hours, depending on the SPF. Ideally, the Sun Protect + should be applied 20 minutes before the skin is exposed to the sun. Reapply it every two hours.
      3. Does Sun Protect + of higher SPF mean greater protection?
        Yes, higher the SPF greater is the protection. However, there is only a tiny difference, SPF 30 protects against approximately 97% of UV rays whereas SPF 50 gives 98% protection from the sun. Therefore, a higher SPF does not necessarily mean proportionately greater protection.
